A Good Long Break

We had a good Thanksgiving (especially the Chocolate Mousse Pie). It was also the two week mark. We're enjoying having Daddy around and he's been very busy around the house. Well, here's the two week update.

You can't really tell from the picture but big brother sat down and put his arm around baby brother. He sat that way the whole time he was watching his movie.
Big brother was using the baby backpack to haul around the puppy.
Then it was Dad's turn to try out the carrier with big brother. I can't believe he fit but he was within the specified weight limit.

A Good Visit

One of these things is not like the other.
Jacob is always helping.

We had the pleasure of a visit from Papa Ron and Grandma Karen. It was so good to see them and they got lots of quality time with the boys. It was so nice to have so many pair of hands to help hold babies and keep them happy. (Jacob is screaming at me right now.) They only bad part of the visit is when they had to leave. Thank you so much for making the trip. We love you!
Grandpa's fancy hat.
Who rocked who to sleep here?
Working on the projects. The next day Jacob kept asking where his projects were. He also wanted to know why I was sitting in the Grandma Karen chair.

Our Gang

One week old pics.
Big brother.
And then there were four kings.
Daddy's boys.
This was the first time Jacob had some time to get to know Daniel. It was pretty cute to watch. If you really want to know how it went you'll have to see the video.

Beautiful Boy!

He's Here! Our little Daniel Victor was born Nov 12 at 11:00. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 ozs. and was 20 inches long. I just wanted to hurry and get up a quick picture for the family and friends.

We've Had a Birthday!

October was a really good month for us. We had cake and ice cream a pleanty. Thanks to all our friends and family who helped make our birthdays special. We're working on the present opening technique.

This is my first attempt at a child's cake. Jacob really just wanted to take the cars off but I told him he'd have to wait until after he blew out the candles. He made quick work of taking off the cars as soon as he'd done his part.

I tried to get a good portriat for his B-day. He was pretty cooperative for a two-year-old.

I just love this picture of my boys out in the yard. Matt had finnished mowing the lawn and they were out watching the airplanes while Matt rested.

We're training Jacob to be a good little server. Right after I snapped this picture we grabbed the plate (which was pretty heavy) before he lost his balance.
