'Round the Fire

We found some wild animals hiding in the grass. Look out they might get you!
It was so much fun to see the littles discover the joys of roasting over the fire.
And the larger ones perfecting their technique.
I think we all caught a little smoke.
And some toasty extra calories.
Thanks everyone for making it such a fun trip. We should do it again next summer.

The Big Kid Swing

The oldest grandchild is also the most adventurous so far. Look at him go!
We just call her "The Pro."
This guy thought we were putting together a calendar.
Don't you think he posed perfectly?
Look at me go. When I started to swing out to the edges I started to get dizzy.
Does, "Put me down, put me down," sound familiar to anyone? :)
Thanks for being brave enough to go first. It made it lots easier for me.

Grandparents

Mom and Dad were so good to keep track of the babies, so were the Badger Auties.
Grandma brought all the littles over to see what we were doing on the big swing.
She really knows how to keep them in line. :)
"Okay Homer, now we're gonna roast this marshmallow."
I think Grandpa liked to play chauffeur.
And the boys liked to go with him to check out the horses and pigs.

Canoeing

The Grandparents took off with the babies.
We had three full boats of family and we still fit in one picture.
We were well watched over.
It was funny as everyone always had a couple kids in their boat and they were getting really good with those paddles.
I don't know who took these pictures but someone got closeups of these
two and they turned out so cute.

HORSES!

This vacation is hard to post because we had SOOOOOOOOOOO many pictures and most of them were completely adorable. It took me a while to go through all the King pics and now I'm on to the rest. Sorry it's taken me so long. It was so hard to pick the best ones. I have copies of ALL the pictures on CDs for everyone (Kings too) and just need to get them mailed out.

This was too cute not to put in as he is waving.
It was so cute to see the kids get so excited.
I'm just glad this guy didn't sneeze with everyone standing so close. :)
I have to laugh every time we get the kids all lined up. There were probably a dozen of these pictures and all of them had quirky kid faces and squinty eyes from someone.
I tried to pick the best picture from each child.
I think they all loved being up there.
The world just looks different from up on a horse.
A big thanks to our Badger Anties for making this happen.
The clouds in this picture are almost too perfect.
Man that was fun.
I'll work on getting more pictures up but wanted to get started for those of you (Mom) who have been dying to see pictures. I think we took about 200, no exaggeration.
