Moving Day!

We are moving today so I won't have internet access for a bit so I thought I'd better get an update up as it will be a while. I finally got a picture of the front of the house. We've been calling it the "new house" so Jacob knows what we're talking about. We've been explaining to him lately that we're going to put all our stuff in the big truck and take it to the new house.

I don't miss teh green walls in the house.
Everything looks so much cleaner when it's had a new coat of paint.

Jacob wanted to get in on the painting action.

To The Grandmas

This post is dedicated to the grandmas. They talk to our almost two year old on the phone almost every week and now I think they need pictures.

Home Sweet Fixer-Upper

Okay Angie, here are some pictures. I still haven't taken pictures of the front of the house so there will be more to come and progress shots as were're working. Matt got the first of the paint done yesterday and it looks great!

I don't know how many hours we've put in so far. Yes it has been some long days this week but another 10 days and we'll be moved in. Yea!

Counting Blessings

After some time of searching and praying it looks like we're going to be home owners! The close date is set for ASAP. I'm looking forward to all the projects and challenges that will come with this home. My favorite feature so far is the kitchen window. The great part about it is I can see what's going on outside without having to be outside.

Yesterday was a date day. Matt had an appointment in Seattle yesterday so I went with him and then we caught a late afternoon movie. Jacob got to go play at the relatives and it was really nice to have a day off.

I started packing this week. I can't say I've made much progress as we probably won't be moving until the end of the month and we still do have to live in the meantime but it's excited to get the ball rolling.

I'm excited to move but a little sad that we won't be as close to the many friends we've made here. I've learned much as I've been bless to share in the lives of so many. Thank you for your friendship.
